Creador Scholarship for Excellence & Opportunity at APU

Applicable for: 

• 2+ year Diploma programmes
• 3-4 year Bachelor’s degree

STR recipients are eligible to apply and, if selected, may receive 75% to 100% coverage of the remaining tuition fees (after PTPTN deduction).

Applicants from single-parent/guardian households with a monthly income below RM6,000, or applicants whose total household monthly income is below RM8,000, are eligible to apply and, if selected, may receive 50% to 75% coverage of the remaining tuition fees (after PTPTN deduction).

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Malaysian citizen aged below 20 years at time of application
• Be a graduate from SPM 2025 / STPM 2025 / UEC 2025 or equivalent
• Apply for a 2-year Diploma, or a 3 to 4-year Bachelor's Degree programme at APU
• Demonstrate financial need under STR/B40 or M40 classification and provide all supporting documentation required by APU for verification purposes.
• Exhibit strong academic performance, leadership qualities, and good character
• Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 throughout the duration of study
• Have no disciplinary records or history of academic probation
• Be eligible for and apply for PTPTN financing
• Agree to comply with scholarship monitoring and engagement requirements
   

Note: The scholarship is highly competitive and offered on a limited basis. Selection is based on eligibility, assessment criteria, and available scholarship quotas. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. All decisions made by the selection committee are final.

• Screening & Shortlisting: 15 September - 31 October 2026
• Interview Process:  15 September - 15 November 2026
• Final Decision:  Latest by 20 September for September Intake, 20 November for November Intake

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend one or more interview sessions conducted by APU and Creador representatives.

• Applicants will be evaluated based on:
• Academic achievement in SPM 2025 /STPM 2025 / UEC 2025 or equivalent
• Financial need
• Leadership potential
• Personal motivation and future aspirations

• Copy of MyKad (Student & Parents/Guardians)
• Academic Transcript/Results
• Proof of Household Income
• Bank Statements (3 months)
• Latest EPF Statement of Parents
• Utility Bills
• Additional Supporting Documents (if applicable)
